Remote Learning Teacher
Role Overview
The Remote Learning Teacher supports continuity of learning for children affected by climate-related school disruptions. The role focuses on delivering structured remote instruction, supporting caregivers, promoting child protection messaging, and facilitating learner reintegration once schools reopen.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one remote learning sessions via phone
- Assess learner progress and adapt lesson delivery
- Support learners using IVR and digital learning tools
- Conduct live virtual lessons to address learning gaps
- Guide caregivers and learners on accessing digital learning platforms
- Disseminate child protection and safety messages
- Identify dropout and protection risks and support referrals
- Collaborate with schools and community stakeholders
- Document learning progress and protection concerns
Qualifications
- TSC-registered P1 Teacher (English and Mathematics preferred)
- Experience in teaching, coaching, or community facilitation
- Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and referral pathways
- Strong communication and time management skills
