Relationship Officer, Business Banking

Job Overview

The Relationship Officer is responsible for driving asset and liability growth, expanding the customer base, and deepening customer relationships within the Business Banking segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve liability and asset growth targets within the assigned portfolio.
• Prospect and onboard new business, corporate, and SME clients.
• Actively manage existing client relationships to increase wallet share.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through networking and marketing initiatives.
• Prepare and submit credit proposals in line with credit policy guidelines.
• Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and relationship reviews.
• Coordinate with internal departments to deliver seamless customer service.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform business strategy.
• Prepare customized client proposals and portfolio performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business or Corporate Banking with credit exposure.
• Strong credit analysis, negotiation, and portfolio management skills.
• Proven ability to manage portfolios of at least USD 5 million.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, independence, and decision-making capability.
