Jubilee Insurance is seeking a performance-driven Regional Bancassurance Sales Manager to meet and exceed the regional monthly and yearly revenue budget in Nairobi. This critical insurance sales management job in Kenya requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Insurance Sales Management at a supervisory level or above. The Manager will be tasked with ensuring sustainable growth, coordinating sales activations with bank partners, leading training on health insurance products, and maintaining excellent relationships with key banking stakeholders.

Role Overview
The Regional Bancassurance Sales Manager is fully accountable for the operational success and revenue objectives of the assigned region’s bancassurance sales. This role is highly focused on sales strategy, team monitoring, partner training, and achieving key targets, including sales quotas and persistency targets. The Manager must ensure seamless customer service, timely complaint resolution, and strict adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Achievement: Ensure the achievement of sustainable growth and meet all set monthly and yearly regional bancassurance revenue budgets.
- Sales Coordination: Plan and co-ordinate health insurance sales activation programs organized by Banks, Regional, or Branch management in conjunction with the Bancassurance Manager.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the activities of Bancassurance sales officers through daily reports, ensuring their prospecting, quotations, and training activities align with revenue objectives.
- Partner Relations: Develop and maintain excellent relationship management with key bank partners, including Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and Bancassurance officers.
- Training & Coaching: Lead effective training sessions for sales officers on the code of conduct, health insurance products, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements, maintaining accurate records.
- Portfolio Persistency: Attain set persistency targets for the existing health insurance portfolio by coordinating with bank partners to ensure timely renewals and premium collection.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Jubilee Health Insurance and the allocated Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare and share daily reports of regional business performance based on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Health Insurance Sales Management at a supervisory level or above is required. Experience in Bancassurance is an added advantage.
- Education: A University degree from an institution recognized by the Commission for Higher Education.
- Professional: An AIIK Diploma / CII Diploma or any other insurance-related professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Competencies: Proven expertise in sales and marketing strategy, comprehensive knowledge of health insurance products, strong leadership, analytical ability to interpret sales data, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Compliance: Thorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal obligations.
