Role Overview

Green Wells Energies Limited requires a Receptionist for our Nairobi headquarters to manage the front-of-house operations on a contract basis. This is a factual, professional position intended for a detail-oriented administrator to act as the primary point of contact for clients and visitors. The role focuses on the coordination of office correspondences, appointment scheduling, and the maintenance of a highly organized reception area. You will be responsible for upholding the ethics and professional standards of the company while providing essential administrative support to the Senior Management team in a multicultural corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and welcome all visitors courteously, ensuring the reception area remains organized and professional.
  • Manage the front office switchboard and route all incoming correspondences to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist Senior Management with administrative tasks including report preparation, filing, and data entry.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of meeting rooms and ensure all areas are properly set up for guest arrival.
  • Monitor and manage the office supplies inventory, placing timely orders to prevent operational delays.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding internal documents and stakeholder information.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a busy, professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the operation of standard office equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a multicultural clientele with high customer service standards.
