Job Overview
Securex Agencies (K) Limited is seeking Radio Controllers to serve as the 24/7 focal point for security coordination and communication. The role supports security operations through effective monitoring, incident management, and continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the 24/7 focal point for all security coordination and communications.
- Serve as the single point of contact for triaging emergencies and incidents.
- Maintain an electronic log of all incidents and actions taken.
- Operate as a command and control node during routine and emergency situations.
- Maintain continuous communication with security personnel, supervisors, and security focal points.
- Operate emergency communication equipment including radios, satellite phones, landlines, and tracking systems.
- Monitor and track vehicles using the Track 24 platform and conduct routine radio and phone checks.
- Monitor CCTV systems and initiate shelter-in-place or lockdown protocols when required.
- Conduct daily checks on security monitoring, tracking, and operating systems and report faults.
- Maintain updated contact lists for staff, consultants, and visiting missions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service feedback professionally.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and operational tests.
- Prepare and submit monthly operational reports within set deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Security Management, or a business-related field.
- Diploma or Certificate in Customer Service.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy call centre or commercial operations environment.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
