Quality Assurance Supervisor

Role Overview

Do you have a passion for ensuring that every glass of milk meets the highest possible safety standards? We are looking for a hands-on supervisor to join our dairy team, where you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining compliance with FSSC 22000 and national quality regulations. Your day-to-day will involve everything from troubleshooting product issues on the factory floor to leading investigations when quality markers dip below our benchmarks. If you enjoy the balance of technical oversight and team leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll find this to be a rewarding place to apply your food science expertise and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll lead a dedicated team of quality staff, ensuring daily operations align perfectly with company and national standards.
• You will be the primary troubleshooter for any quality concerns arising in the factory or during the production process.
• Your role involves making the final call on product re-work or disposal when quality standards aren’t met.
• You’ll work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to resolve shared concerns and implement best practices.
• You will oversee the accuracy of our product traceability systems, ensuring every component is accounted for.
• Your expertise will guide our HACCP and GMP training sessions to keep all site personnel sharp and compliant.

Qualifications

• You hold a Degree or Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or Food Technology.
• You have at least 2 years of experience specifically in a dairy industry quality role.
• You are a natural leader with a C+ or above in KCSE.
• You know your way around Microsoft Office and have a deep understanding of FSSC 22000 systems.
• You are a problem-solver who thrives on attention to detail and team collaboration.
