Role Overview

The Procurement Officer – ICT will support strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities for the organization’s ICT and digital initiatives. This role ensures compliance, efficiency, and value for money in ICT procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and engage qualified ICT vendors in line with procurement policy.

• Organize and support the development of sourcing strategies aligned to the company’s digital transformation goals.

• Coordinate the end-to-end procurement cycle for ICT works, products, and services.

• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents in compliance with policy.

• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Negotiate favorable contract terms and ensure adherence to SLAs and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and IT teams during contract reviews.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes or service issues.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and provide regular activity reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, ICT, or Business Administration.

• CIPS certification preferred.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in ICT procurement, ideally within financial services.

• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and ICT market trends.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
