Procurement Officer

Role Overview

This role supports IT procurement strategy execution by strengthening supplier governance, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring reliable delivery of technology-related goods and services aligned with the bank’s operational and regulatory needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support category governance through strategic reviews aligned with market and business needs
  • Promote supplier diversity and inclusive sourcing practices
  • Apply data analytics and technology to improve category decision-making
  • Develop financial models to manage market volatility and cost risk
  • Support capital investment evaluation and long-term value optimization
  • Review, negotiate, and manage IT-related contracts and renewals
  • Conduct supplier performance audits and compliance reviews
  • Implement reporting automation and real-time analytics for procurement processes
  • Strengthen internal audit, governance, and compliance mechanisms
  • Engage internal stakeholders to improve supply performance and customer satisfaction
  • Support learning, succession planning, and knowledge management initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a business-related field
  • Professional membership with KISM or CIPS
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar role within a medium or large organization
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance and contract management
