Procurement Officer
Role Overview
This role supports IT procurement strategy execution by strengthening supplier governance, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring reliable delivery of technology-related goods and services aligned with the bank’s operational and regulatory needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support category governance through strategic reviews aligned with market and business needs
- Promote supplier diversity and inclusive sourcing practices
- Apply data analytics and technology to improve category decision-making
- Develop financial models to manage market volatility and cost risk
- Support capital investment evaluation and long-term value optimization
- Review, negotiate, and manage IT-related contracts and renewals
- Conduct supplier performance audits and compliance reviews
- Implement reporting automation and real-time analytics for procurement processes
- Strengthen internal audit, governance, and compliance mechanisms
- Engage internal stakeholders to improve supply performance and customer satisfaction
- Support learning, succession planning, and knowledge management initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a business-related field
- Professional membership with KISM or CIPS
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role within a medium or large organization
- Strong understanding of procurement governance and contract management
