Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a vibrant primary classroom, creating an inclusive atmosphere that encourages student curiosity and growth.
  • Design and implement holistic learning experiences that align with Woodland Star’s mission and values.
  • Manage the daily social and academic development of your homeroom students with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a seamless educational journey across the Primary Years program.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, acting as the primary point of contact for student progress and well-being.
  • Utilize the school’s natural, green environment as an extension of the classroom to enhance learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized institution.
  • Valid TSC Number (for Kenyan applicants) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience (for international applicants).
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multi-disciplinary faculty.
  • Strong personal alignment with the mantra “ad astra per aspera.”
