Role Overview
The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to strengthen global health systems research. The role involves advancing projects on health system resilience and leading data-driven, impactful research across low- and middle-income countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and co-develop research proposals and grant applications.
- Conduct literature reviews, study design, and data management plans.
- Support ethical approval processes and coordinate field data collection.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate results.
- Contribute to capacity-building and health systems teaching.
- Identify new research opportunities and partnerships globally.
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD in a health or social science discipline.
- Expertise in health systems, data analysis, and research ethics.
- Proven track record in publications and project implementation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in LMICs is preferred.
