Role Overview

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to strengthen global health systems research. The role involves advancing projects on health system resilience and leading data-driven, impactful research across low- and middle-income countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and co-develop research proposals and grant applications.
• Conduct literature reviews, study design, and data management plans.
• Support ethical approval processes and coordinate field data collection.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate results.
• Contribute to capacity-building and health systems teaching.
• Identify new research opportunities and partnerships globally.

Qualifications & Experience

• PhD in a health or social science discipline.
• Expertise in health systems, data analysis, and research ethics.
• Proven track record in publications and project implementation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in LMICs is preferred.
