Role Overview

As the Pharmtech Lead, you act as the bridge between the pharmacy staff and hospital management. Your day involves supervising the team, tracking stock levels, and making sure the pharmacy department runs like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the pharmacy technician team and coordinate daily shift schedules
• Oversee procurement and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages
• Ensure all dispensing activities meet the highest safety and professional standards
• Track expiry dates and manage the disposal of pharmaceutical waste correctly
• Handle patient inquiries and provide expert guidance on medication use

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology
• Valid registration and practicing license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team effectively
• Strong organizational skills and a patient-focused attitude
• Experience in a busy retail or hospital pharmacy setting
