Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE) Officer
Role Overview
This role safeguards people, operations, and environments by embedding strong safety, health, and environmental practices across catering and event operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workplace safety and OSHE policies
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits
- Train staff on safety procedures, health standards, and emergency response
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses with corrective actions
- Oversee equipment safety, housekeeping, and environmental management
- Maintain accurate OSHE records and inspection documentation
- Promote a strong safety culture across all teams and locations
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Studies, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in OSHE or safety management
- Strong understanding of OSH laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and staff training
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-site operations
