Operations and Events Manager — Zeraki (Nairobi)

Zeraki is looking for an Operations and Events Manager to oversee office administration and lead the execution of strategic events. This role is a blend of office management and high-level event coordination, requiring someone who can manage multiple priorities across complex timelines while maintaining operational efficiency.

Role Overview

You will develop administrative policies, manage procurement, and coordinate 1–2 strategic events per quarter, such as education competitions and school leadership forums. You will be the point person for vendor negotiations and cross-functional coordination between Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement systems for office infrastructure, asset management, and resource utilization.
  • Lead procurement planning and negotiate supplier contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venues, equipment, and on-site staffing.
  • Prepare operational reports to track KPIs and ROI for events and activations.
  • Ensure all administrative practices align with company governance standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations, procurement, or event management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
  • Willingness to travel for regional school events and grassroots activations.
