Role Overview

Sybyl Limited is seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Implementation Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade IT infrastructure. The role involves managing OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, server hardware, storage systems, and infrastructure automation while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Storage Management

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS).

  • Handle storage allocation, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Dell EMC, NetApp, or HPE storage arrays is an added advantage.

Server Infrastructure

  • Maintain and manage physical servers and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Oversee bare metal deployments and configurations.

Bare Metal & SAN Switch Management

  • Deploy and configure bare metal servers, optimizing hardware integration.

  • Configure and manage SAN switches (Brocade, Cisco MDS), including zoning and troubleshooting.

Containerization & Cloud (OpenShift/Kubernetes)

  • Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.

  • Oversee containerized application deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.

Automation & Optimization

  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management.

  • Monitor infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Documentation

  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

Security

  • Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Hands-on expertise with OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster deployment and management.

  • Solid experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS), server infrastructure, and virtualization.

  • Knowledge of SAN switch configuration (Brocade, Cisco MDS).

  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization skills.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure security and compliance best practices.
