Media Buyer
Role Overview
The Media Buyer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing media campaigns across digital and traditional channels. The role focuses on maximizing media performance, managing budgets, and delivering measurable results aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media plans aligned with advertising and client strategies
- Identify target audiences and recommend optimal media channels
- Execute media buys while negotiating favorable terms and placements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance using data-driven insights
- Implement A/B testing strategies to improve targeting and creative effectiveness
- Manage media budgets and provide accurate forecasts and updates
- Prepare performance reports and post-campaign analysis
- Collaborate with creative, account, and client teams
- Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Media Buyer
- Strong experience in programmatic media buying
- In-depth knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and ad exchanges
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with ad tech platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, DV360, or The Trade Desk is an advantage
