Ultracare Specialist Hospital is seeking a proactive Marketer to drive the promotion of hospital services in Nairobi. Role Overview
The Marketer will execute a comprehensive marketing strategy encompassing both digital and physical outreach. Key duties include managing the hospital’s digital presence (social media, website, newsletters), conducting market research and competitor analysis, coordinating promotional events (health camps, CMEs), and building strong relationships with clinicians, insurance partners, and community groups. The Marketer must ensure all activities adhere to ethical healthcare communication standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign & Strategy: Develop, implement, and monitor effective marketing plans and campaigns to proactively promote specialized hospital services.
- Brand Visibility: Strengthen the hospital’s brand visibility through community outreach, corporate engagements, promotional events, and dynamic digital platforms.
- Content Management: Manage the hospital’s social media pages, website content, newsletters, brochures, and other key communication materials.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and patient feedback assessments to inform marketing strategy and pricing.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with critical referral sources, corporates, insurance partners, clinicians, and community groups.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate health camps, Continuous Medical Education (CMEs), open days, and community health education activities.
- Performance Tracking: Track, analyze, and report the performance of marketing activities, including referrals, leads, and conversions, for evidence-based decision-making.
- Ethics & Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere strictly to hospital policies, professionalism, and ethical healthcare communication standards.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Experience: Previous experience in marketing (healthcare experience is an added advantage).
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Analytical: Ability to conduct market research and analyze marketing performance data.
