The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is seeking a qualified Manager – Business Projects Portfolio to lead the execution and governance of strategic business and technology projects.

Role Overview

The Manager – Business Projects Portfolio will oversee multiple business projects ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and alignment with KRA’s corporate strategy. The role demands strategic oversight, risk management, and strong project governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of business and technology projects.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and budget utilization.
  • Implement governance frameworks and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Coordinate with user departments to align deliverables with operational needs.
  • Track key milestones and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Report progress and recommend strategic adjustments to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an advantage.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, including 2 years in management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and large-scale project implementation.
