Role Overview
This high-pressure role requires you to synchronize the movement of trucks, drivers, and loaders in real-time. You will be the central node in a network that demands constant problem-solving, from resolving sudden breakdowns to re-routing vehicles for sensitive clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize GPS systems to monitor live truck locations and enforce strict start/finish times.
- Design geofences for clients and analyze fuel consumption to flag variances.
- Coordinate with the workshop to manage repair timelines and minimize service interruptions.
- Audit trip logs and mileage updates to maintain 100% data accuracy.
- Investigate service failures or property damage incidents and provide immediate resolutions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 1 year in fleet coordination or operational administration.
- Expert knowledge of Nairobi’s geography and NTSA traffic regulations.
- Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles to better liaise with workshop teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes operational setting.
