Role Overview

The Learning Support Teacher will deliver personalized instruction aligned with the student’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP), supporting academic and social-emotional development. The teacher will collaborate closely with classroom educators, co-teachers, and parents to foster a supportive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and track progress against ILP goals for the assigned student.
• Deliver one-on-one support tailored to specific learning needs.
• Adapt teaching materials and methods to suit diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the learning support team.
• Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the school’s inclusive ethos.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) or equivalent.
• Valid TSC registration number (for Kenyan applicants).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching in inclusive or one-on-one settings.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and adaptive learning.
• Empathetic, patient, and adaptable teaching approach.
