Role Overview

This outlet runs on accuracy and pace: items must be handled correctly, timelines kept, and the workspace maintained. You will manage day-to-day laundry operations at the Langata Road store, including item tracking, machine handling, and customer support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and package clothes and other laundry items
• Tag and record customer items accurately to prevent mix-ups and losses
• Monitor machine performance and carry out basic upkeep such as cleaning lint filters
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safe working conditions in the laundry area
• Support front-desk customer service when required
• Report damaged or missing items promptly and follow outlet procedures for escalation
• Work steadily during peak periods while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Basic experience or familiarity with laundry or cleaning services is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Trustworthy, punctual, and organised
• Physically fit and able to lift medium-weight laundry items
