Role Overview

The Key Stage 1 Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, values-driven learning experiences for lower primary learners within the Cambridge curriculum. The role focuses on nurturing curiosity, supporting early academic development, and creating a positive classroom environment that encourages holistic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
• Create a fun, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning among young learners
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
• Build strong relationships with families and caregivers
• Prepare learning materials, assessments, and classroom resources
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and school activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Experience teaching within the Cambridge curriculum is required
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for early childhood and lower primary education
• Commitment to values-based and learner-centred teaching
