Key Stage 1 Teacher
Role Overview
The Key Stage 1 Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, values-driven learning experiences for lower primary learners within the Cambridge curriculum. The role focuses on nurturing curiosity, supporting early academic development, and creating a positive classroom environment that encourages holistic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 1 lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
- Create a fun, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning among young learners
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to parents
- Build strong relationships with families and caregivers
- Prepare learning materials, assessments, and classroom resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and school activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Experience teaching within the Cambridge curriculum is required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood and lower primary education
- Commitment to values-based and learner-centred teaching
