Job Description

Interior Designer

Role Overview

The gap between a creative design concept and a finished site often involves friction in technical documentation and resource allocation. We are looking for an Interior Designer to solve the problem of project fragmentation by managing the entire journey from mood boards to final site execution. Your role is to resolve inaccuracies by reviewing consultant drawings and creating precise construction details that the on-ground team can follow without confusion. By taking charge of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and project timelines, you will ensure that aesthetic vision and budgetary reality remain perfectly aligned throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve design ambiguities by preparing detailed mood boards and technical construction documents.
  • Eliminate site errors through the rigorous review of drawings provided by external consultants.
  • Fix budget overruns by managing the BOQ and allocating project resources with precision.
  • Solve scheduling conflicts by creating and maintaining strict project timelines and procurement plans.
  • Facilitate quality assurance by setting and enforcing standards for all suppliers and contractors.
  • Bridge the communication gap between the ground team and stakeholders through regular progress reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
  • A technical portfolio that demonstrates both creative flair and involvement in Quantity Surveying (QS).
  • Mastery of industry-standard design software and technical drafting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering projects within defined scope and goals.
  • Proven ability to direct multi-disciplinary teams in a high-pressure environment.
