Diani Beach Hospital is seeking a qualified Intensivist to oversee patient care in its critical care and intensive care units.

Role Overview

The Intensivist will provide expert management of critically ill patients, ensuring the highest standards of monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment in intensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of ICU patients requiring advanced life support.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in critical care units.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings and life-sustaining therapies.
• Develop and implement critical care protocols.
• Support emergency response and high-dependency units.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBChB or equivalent degree.
• Master’s degree in Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia, or Critical Care.
• Valid registration and license from KMPDC.
• Specialist Recognition Certificate.
• Proven experience in a tertiary or critical care hospital.
