Role Overview
The Information Management Assistant (Diplomatic Technology Assistant) provides front-line IT and customer support services within the Embassy’s Diplomatic Technology team. The position involves managing user support requests, ensuring system functionality, and assisting in technical operations across classified and unclassified environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to Embassy staff across multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts and access rights in controlled and general areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Support IT operations during official events and VIP visits.
- Contribute to knowledge management, user training, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Assist in administrative and project support tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in IT support or customer service within an office environment.
- Completion of at least two years of full-time post-secondary study in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and enterprise productivity tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must qualify for a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
