Role Overview

Are you looking to see what happens behind the scenes in a busy HR department at a top finance firm? We have a spot for a curious intern who wants to get their hands dirty with everything from updating our employee database to helping us prep for audits. You’ll spend your time making sure our records are perfect, assisting with new contracts, and learning how a shared-services HR environment actually functions. Key Responsibilities

  • You will help us keep our HR systems updated, ensuring every piece of employee data is accurate and flagged for any errors.
  • You’ll assist in drafting employment contracts and tracking when they are up for renewal or confirmation.
  • Your day-to-day will involve maintaining digital files for employee benefits like medical and pension schemes.
  • You will support the team during onboarding by setting up checklists and helping new hires get system access.
  • You’ll be the go-to person for retrieving files during compliance audits and helping us organize our shared folders.
  • You will get to help schedule interviews and coordinate calendars for our recruitment drives.

Qualifications

  • You are currently a student or a recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Human Resources.
  • You have a basic grasp of Kenyan employment laws and how HR documentation works.
  • You are a stickler for detail and take pride in keeping records organized.
  • You know your way around MS Excel and Word.
  • Any previous internship or attachment experience will definitely give you a head start.
