Role Overview

Reporting to the HR & Corporate Services Manager, the HR Assistant will ensure that all HR needs for the business functions are met efficiently. The Assistant will be a key support resource, responsible for administrative and operational HR tasks, ensuring processes are aligned with best practices, fostering employee engagement, and diligently maintaining documentation for audits and compliance checks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Execute the seamless onboarding process for new employees and assist with offboarding procedures when necessary.
  • Employee Relations: Support employee engagement initiatives and serve as a resource for addressing routine employee queries and concerns.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the administration of employee benefits and entitlements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Performance Management: Provide administrative support to the performance management cycle, tracking timelines and maintaining related documentation.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR operations and documentation adhere to internal company policies and external regulatory frameworks in Kenyan employment law.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring proper filing and confidentiality of sensitive human resource information.
