Role Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment across patient rooms, offices, and public areas. The role is critical in supporting infection prevention, patient safety, comfort, and overall healthcare service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hospital wards, offices, and common areas
• Adhere to infection control standards in housekeeping and laundry services
• Support safe waste handling and disposal practices
• Maintain hygiene standards that support patient safety and comfort
• Follow hospital policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Certificate in Infection Control Practices in Housekeeping and Laundry
• Food Handler Certificate
• Certificate of Good Conduct
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a service-oriented industry
• Good communication skills
