Hospital Administrator
Role Overview
This role oversees non-clinical hospital operations, ensuring smooth administration, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination of patient support services within a healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and operational activities
- Supervise non-clinical staff including front office and support teams
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and safety standards
- Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate facility schedules, appointments, and patient services
- Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information securely
- Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma in Health Systems Management, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Degree qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospital or healthcare administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital management systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Ministry of Health licensing and SHA processes
- Medical or clinical background is an added advantage
