KCB Foundation seeks a dynamic Head of Fundraising to drive donor engagement, partnerships, and resource mobilization for high-impact social programs across Kenya and Africa.

Role Overview

The Head of Fundraising will design and execute innovative fundraising strategies, cultivate donor relationships, and manage fundraising campaigns to expand the Foundation’s reach and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies aligned with Foundation goals.
• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with donors, corporates, and partners.
• Lead proposal writing, concept development, and partnership negotiations.
• Oversee fundraising campaigns, events, and donor stewardship activities.
• Monitor and report fundraising performance and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Represent the Foundation in high-level meetings, conferences, and media engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Development Studies.
• Master’s degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in fundraising, partnerships, or donor relations.
• Proven record of raising over KSh 1B annually for development programs.
• Excellent proposal writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
