Role Overview

Zetech University seeks a qualified Head of Department – ICT & Engineering to oversee curriculum development, teaching quality, and departmental operations. The position requires an academic leader passionate about technology education, research, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee program development, review, and accreditation processes.
• Manage teaching quality, examinations, and academic progression.
• Supervise staff performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor student performance, class attendance, and graduation processes.
• Represent the department in university academic and administrative meetings.
• Address student and staff concerns to maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field from an accredited university.
• Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in ICT or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience at the university level.
• At least 1 year of management experience in academia.
• Proven research output through publications, conferences, or seminars.
