Eagle HR Consultants is hiring a Food and Beverage Manager in Nairobi. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the entire F&B department, including dining rooms, bars, and corporate events. You will be tasked with meeting financial targets, ensuring top-tier customer service, and managing a large team of personnel to maintain the highest operational standards.

Role Overview

The Manager is responsible for budget development, labor cost control, and the implementation of operating policies. You will proactively identify member needs, handle complex complaints, oversee talent development, and coordinate with the Executive Chef to ensure food quality and pricing remain competitive and satisfying to the members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring they meet budgeted guidelines and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets for each outlet; monitor and control labor and inventory costs.
  • Oversee the meeting and events section, ensuring banqueting initiatives and financial targets are achieved.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and succession planning; foster a culture of motivation and teamwork.
  • Maintain consistent guest satisfaction by creating a professional and friendly service environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Post Graduate Degree or three-year Diploma in Hotel Management.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Supervisor or in a similar management role.
  • Mastery in delegating tasks, high-level customer service skills, and creative problem-solving.
