Koko Networks is seeking an Electronics Engineer Intern to join its team in Nairobi. This demanding engineering internship in Kenya is open to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronics, or Computer & Electronics Engineering. The Intern will provide essential support to the Electronics Engineers by setting up test rigs, running tests under supervision, meticulously documenting all test findings, and supporting research tasks related to the development of Koko’s innovative technology.

Role Overview
The Intern Electronics Engineer will gain practical experience in an R&D environment, working closely with senior engineers. Key duties involve the hands-on setup of test benches, running prescribed tests, accurately documenting test results and findings, and assisting with research tasks. The role requires proficiency in spreadsheet and document editing software for effective reporting and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Setup & Execution: Set up test rigs on the work bench precisely according to instructions provided by the Electronics Engineers.
- Documentation: Meticulously document all findings and results from the tests carried out.
- Research Support: Support the Electronics Engineers in various research tasks related to product development and hardware optimization.
- General Assistance: Perform any other tasks assigned by the Electronics Department engineers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronics, Computer & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient in the use of spreadsheet software and document editing software (from either Google or Microsoft).
