Role Overview

Do you take pride in ensuring that every worker returns home safely at the end of the day? We need a safety-conscious leader to take charge of our EHS protocols, from training staff on the latest statutory requirements to making sure quality PPE is always available on the floor. You’ll be the one walking the facility to spot gaps before they become hazards, investigating the occasional incident to find the root cause, and keeping our documentation sharp for every audit. If you have a background in manufacturing and love the challenge of building a zero-harm culture, your expertise will be vital to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• You will lead the charge in implementing and enforcing all statutory and client-specific safety requirements.
• You’ll spend time developing risk assessments for every routine job and figuring out how to mitigate non-routine hazards.
• Your role includes creating training materials and hosting induction sessions to keep everyone informed and safe.
• You will oversee regular facility inspections, following up personally to ensure every safety gap is closed.
• You’ll coordinate timely medical exams for staff and ensure all our equipment has the necessary safety certifications.
• You will prepare monthly EHS reports and maintain accurate records of our safety performance.

Qualifications

• You have at least 3 years of experience as an EHS supervisor, ideally in a busy manufacturing plant.
• You hold a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• You are known for being detail-oriented and having excellent people management skills.
• You can stay calm and focused even when working under pressure or during incident investigations.
• You are a clear communicator, whether you’re writing a report or leading a safety training session.
