Driver Job in Kenya – Hiring via Eagle HR Consultants

Eagle HR Consultants is looking for a professional Driver for a client in Nairobi. You will be responsible for the safe transport of staff and the timely delivery of mail and equipment. Beyond driving, the role requires basic mechanical knowledge and a high level of integrity regarding the safety and custody of the vehicle and its documents.

Role Overview

As a Driver, you will manage all aspects of vehicle operations, including maintaining mileage logs, fuel records, and cleanliness. You will be expected to perform periodic checks to identify maintenance needs and assist with administrative office duties when transport facilitation is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate staff movement and deliver packages, mail, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of official trips, daily mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and in good condition; perform periodic checks for maintenance needs.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, insurance, and first aid kits are up to date and available in the vehicle.
• Drive carefully at all times to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Valid Driver’s License and a KCSE Certificate; a certificate of good conduct is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a professional driver.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle repairs and deep knowledge of traffic regulations.
• Strong communication, quick decision-making, and a service-minded attitude.
