Role Overview
The Deployable Emergency Response Manager will lead rapid-response humanitarian operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams in crisis-affected regions. This role ensures effective program delivery, operational leadership, and adherence to global emergency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-sector humanitarian responses in crisis zones.
- Manage emergency operations, including logistics, finance, HR, and security.
- Oversee program design, budgeting, and donor reporting.
- Coordinate with local partners, governments, and UN agencies.
- Provide technical support in disaster risk reduction and child protection.
- Represent Plan International in regional coordination meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanitarian Studies, Disaster Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing emergency response programs.
- Expertise in child protection and humanitarian coordination.
- Proven leadership, training, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English; French, Spanish, or Arabic is an asset.
- Willingness to travel frequently to high-risk regions.
