Data Visualization Intern
Role Overview
This internship supports data-driven work across analytics, reporting, and visual communication. You will help improve data processes, build basic data products, and contribute to dashboards and reporting that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement databases, data collection systems, analytics workflows, and methods that improve data quality and efficiency
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns using statistical approaches and structured datasets
- Support process improvement mechanisms for analytics tasks
- Acquire, clean, and maintain data from primary and secondary sources and manage data systems
- Contribute to reports, dashboards, and tools that summarize findings for management and stakeholders
- Track and report progress on department-specific data initiatives
- Produce basic data visualization outputs that support decisions and communications
- Support project tasks, including data collection, initial analysis, and escalation of unresolved issues to senior staff
- Contribute to data products such as reports or newsletters linked to analytics work
- Gather business requirements across departments to identify pain points and support data-driven analysis
- Compile and clarify insights and develop supporting materials for stakeholder communication
- Keep up with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and best practices
- Support data preparation and preliminary analysis for model assessments and verification activities
- Assist in capacity building activities including trainings and workshops on data analytics
- Support routine reporting tasks and administrative elements linked to the work plan
Qualifications
- Currently in the final year of a bachelor’s programme or enrolled in a Master’s/PhD programme, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme
