Role Overview
The Customer Service Assistant will support cashier operations, assist customers at checkout, and maintain organized, efficient service areas. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist at checkout by bagging purchases.
- Maintain queue order and guide customers to available counters.
- Help elderly or differently-abled shoppers with their purchases.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of checkout and service areas.
- Support promotions and provide information on offers.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the customer area.
Qualifications & Experience
- KCSE Certificate; additional customer service training is an asset.
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically fit and comfortable working on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
