Role Overview

The Customer Service Assistant will support cashier operations, assist customers at checkout, and maintain organized, efficient service areas. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist at checkout by bagging purchases.
• Maintain queue order and guide customers to available counters.
• Help elderly or differently-abled shoppers with their purchases.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of checkout and service areas.
• Support promotions and provide information on offers.
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the customer area.

Qualifications & Experience

• KCSE Certificate; additional customer service training is an asset.
• Previous experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
