Customer Service Assistant

Role Overview

The Customer Service Assistant will enhance patient experience by providing front-line support, managing queues, guiding patients, and ensuring compliance with Avenue Healthcare service and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and guide patients and visitors within the hospital premises
  • Manage service ticketing and monitor queues to reduce wait times
  • Support patient feedback collection and service improvement initiatives
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate service information
  • Coordinate with booking teams on specialist clinic schedules and appointments
  • Conduct inpatient rounds to collect feedback and escalate issues
  • Distribute informational materials and maintain transparency on services
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and governance policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Front Office, Business Administration, Health Records, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (hospital experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
