Customer Service Assistant
Role Overview
The Customer Service Assistant will enhance patient experience by providing front-line support, managing queues, guiding patients, and ensuring compliance with Avenue Healthcare service and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide patients and visitors within the hospital premises
- Manage service ticketing and monitor queues to reduce wait times
- Support patient feedback collection and service improvement initiatives
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate service information
- Coordinate with booking teams on specialist clinic schedules and appointments
- Conduct inpatient rounds to collect feedback and escalate issues
- Distribute informational materials and maintain transparency on services
- Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and governance policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Front Office, Business Administration, Health Records, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (hospital experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
