Customer Marketing Manager Convenience Retail Job – PZ Cussons

PZ Cussons is looking for a Customer Marketing Manager for the Convenience Retail channel in Nairobi. You will be a key member of the business planning team, responsible for understanding customer objectives and executing channel strategies that drive incremental sales growth in supermarkets and convenience stores.

Role Overview

The Manager is responsible for the “5P” execution (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) in the supermarket channel. You will develop route-to-market strategies, manage promotional plans (“Battle Plans”), and coordinate data collection to derive competitive insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute channel strategies to exploit growth opportunities in supermarkets and convenience retail.
• Design and execute pre- and post-evaluations of all major promotional activities.
• Coordinate the collection of scan data and competitor pricing to drive insights.
• Provide monthly bottom-up forecasts by SKU for the supermarket channel.
• Deploy guidelines to achieve in-store execution excellence through distributor teams.
• Work with account teams to execute terms and conditions for key retail environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 4-5 years of demonstrated experience in customer marketing.
• Experience in in-store execution and commercial planning processes.
