Credit Control Manager

Role Overview

This role offers the chance to shape credit discipline across large manufacturing operations. You will influence cash flow performance, manage risk exposure, and strengthen governance while leading a critical finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee credit control and collections across multiple business units
• Achieve monthly cash collection and debtor day targets
• Monitor customer payment behaviour and manage credit risk exposure
• Resolve billing disputes and negotiate payment arrangements
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and credit management reports
• Lead Credit Review Committee processes and documentation
• Recommend debt write-offs in line with internal policy
• Strengthen credit control systems, policies, and team capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA (K) certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 15 years’ work experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role
• Manufacturing sector experience
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP FICO & SD preferred)
