Role Overview

The Community Mobilizer will identify, recruit, and mentor vulnerable youth, facilitating life skills and entrepreneurship training to boost employability and self-reliance. The position involves close collaboration with community leaders and vocational institutions to create sustainable economic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and sensitization with parents and community stakeholders.
• Facilitate Youth Ready curriculum sessions and entrepreneurship trainings.
• Link youth to financial institutions, vocational training, and mentorship networks.
• Track participant progress, document success stories and report achievements.
• Build partnerships with schools, churches, and private sector partners to support youth programmes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Community Development, Social Work, or Youth Development (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or Education (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in youth mobilization or livelihood projects.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and facilitation skills.
• Passion for youth empowerment and community transformation.
