Role Overview
The Cleaner will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across University facilities in compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, mop, scrub, and sanitize assigned areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment safely
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain sanitary conditions
- Report maintenance and repair needs promptly
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Safeguard cleaning equipment and supplies
Qualifications & Experience
- KCSE certificate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in cleaning or housekeeping
- Basic digital awareness
- Alignment with Christian values and University mission
