Carpenter Job in Kenya – Skilled Trades Opportunity

Eagle HR Consultants is seeking an experienced Carpenter for a client in Nairobi. This role involves both routine and corrective carpentry works, ranging from repairing furniture to installing new wooden structures. If you have a trade certificate and a background in facility maintenance, this role offers a stable environment within the hospitality or commercial sector.

Role Overview

The Carpenter carries out essential maintenance and refurbishment tasks for wooden fixtures across the facility. You will also provide vital support during events by setting up stages and decor, ensuring all installations are safe and meet high-quality finishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair or refurbish doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture.
• Install new wooden structures, fittings, and partitions as required by the facility.
• Inspect structures for pests or rot and participate in planned maintenance programs.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of stages, tents, and event décor.
• Comply with PPE requirements and maintain records of completed works.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Trade Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably in commercial or hospitality buildings.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise specifications.
• Strong time management, reliability, and a high level of safety awareness.
