Role Overview

One Acre Fund seeks a Tupande Boiler Operator to operate and maintain steam and hot-water boiler systems at its Sagana facility. The role ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance with maintenance standards while minimizing operational downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boiler systems for optimal performance.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure adherence to SHEQ standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and record operational data.
• Manage fuel supplies and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
• Propose improvements for energy efficiency and system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience operating industrial boiler systems.
• NITA-certified boiler operator qualification.
• Strong technical and safety awareness.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
