Role Overview
The Battery Swapping Executive will manage the battery charging and swapping process, serving as the primary point of contact for electric vehicle users. The role demands efficiency, operational compliance, and excellent communication skills. Key functions include daily quality checks on equipment, monitoring and reporting battery stock requirements based on customer traffic, and providing necessary app-based technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Deliver professional and satisfactory customer service at the assigned swapping station, targeting battery swaps to be completed within a rapid 2-minute timeframe.
- Daily Reporting: Compile and submit comprehensive daily reports to the supervisor, detailing attendance, shift summaries, and power consumption before and after duty.
- Escalation Management: Promptly report customer escalations and any operational issues related to batteries, chargers, or safety equipment to the supervisor for resolution.
- Quality & Safety: Conduct rigorous daily quality checks on the station environment and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Inventory Monitoring: Monitor customer swapping volumes and report on battery requirements to the supervisor based on increased demand or reduced stock.
- Tech Support: Offer basic technical assistance to customers, guiding them on the correct usage of the mobile application for the swapping process.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet dynamic work and operational demands in the e-mobility sector.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A KCSE certificate, Vocational technical training, or a related field qualification is the required minimum standard.
- Experience: Previous experience in a direct customer service role is preferred for this position.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems and overall e-mobility technology is considered highly beneficial.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the demonstrated ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced setting.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours and shifts as dictated by the operational schedule.
