Role Overview

The Battery Swapping Executive is responsible for the direct management of battery charging and swapping activities at the assigned station. The position is customer-facing and operational, requiring excellent communication and attention to detail. Key duties include reporting technical issues, monitoring battery requirements based on demand, conducting daily quality checks, and assisting customers with using the relevant mobile application.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide professional and satisfactory customer service at the swapping station, aiming to complete battery swaps efficiently within the 2-minute target.
• Daily Reporting: Provide detailed daily reports to the supervisor before and after each shift, covering attendance, shift summaries, and power consumption metrics.
• Issue Reporting: Promptly report all customer escalations and any issues related to batteries, chargers, or safety materials to the direct supervisor for timely resolution.
• Quality Checks: Conduct daily quality checks on the assigned swapping station to ensure operational excellence and safety standards.
• Inventory Monitoring: Monitor and report on changing battery requirements based on increased swapping activity and demand surges.
• Technical Assistance: Assist customers with using the mobile application for swapping and provide necessary basic technical support.
• Operational Duties: Undertake any additional responsibilities that are reasonably required based on immediate work and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A KCSE certificate, Vocational technical training, or a related field qualification is the minimum requirement.
• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems and e-mobility technology is considered a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and adapt to operational demands.
