Role Overview
The Avionics Engineer is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems, ensuring their continued airworthiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct line and base maintenance as per approved programs.
– Troubleshoot, repair, and certify avionics systems, instruments, and components.
– Supervise aircraft technicians and ensure maintenance standards are upheld.
– Review cabin defects and rectify them before release to service.
– Maintain equipment, tools, and facilities to approved standards.
– Analyze technical data, ensure regulatory compliance, and support engineering operations.
Qualifications
– KCAA Avionics Maintenance Engineer’s License.
– Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering.
– Minimum 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, including Textron or Pilatus PC-12.
– Strong IT proficiency and understanding of airworthiness regulations.
– Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
