AutoCAD Draftsman
Role Overview
This role is about accuracy and speed without sacrificing standards. You will translate sketches and site inputs into clear AutoCAD drawings, manage revisions, and keep drawing documentation organised so engineers and site teams can execute with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD
- Interpret technical sketches, plans, and specifications
- Revise drawings based on site changes and project requirements
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to clarify technical details
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and documentation records
- Ensure drawings meet project standards and are issued on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a draftsman
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision
- Diploma or certificate in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or related field is an advantage
