National Bank of Kenya invites applications for the position of Audit Manager, ICT Service & Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the bank’s information systems and ensuring compliance with ICT governance, control, and risk management standards.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of ICT Audits, the Audit Manager will provide independent assurance to senior management and the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy and reliability of ICT controls, system processes, and security frameworks across the bank’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute ICT audit assignments in line with internal audit methodology.
  • Review IT governance, systems, applications, and business continuity controls.
  • Evaluate system acquisition, data center operations, and network security.
  • Provide input on IT project risk management and control design.
  • Present audit findings to management and the Board Audit Committee.
  • Mentor junior auditors and provide technical guidance.
  • Track implementation of ICT audit recommendations.
  • Participate in investigations and advisory reviews as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification (mandatory).
  • CPA/ACCA or CISM certification an added advantage.
  • 5+ years’ experience in ICT audit within a bank or audit firm.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT risk management, control design, and cyber security.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
