Assistant Operations Manager

Role Overview

Hospitality only works when systems, people, and properties move in sync. This role supports smooth operations across camps and lodges, stepping in where coordination, standards, and problem-solving are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across multiple hospitality properties
  • Coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance functions
  • Assist in enforcing SOPs, service standards, and operational consistency
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and operational planning activities
  • Monitor health, safety, and sustainability practices across properties
  • Act as an operational link between on-site teams and management
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, especially in remote locations
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospitality operations
  • Strong understanding of lodge, camp, or hotel operations
  • Ability to work across remote locations and multiple properties
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
